Hand-carved sculpture of Yakul, the red elk from the studio Ghibli film Princess Mononoke (もののけ姫). The body is carved in cherry wood and the horns are carved separetely in walnut and glued to the head. I painted the color details (white fur, hooves, eyes, nose) before finishing the piece.
