Kamishibai (literally “paper theatre”) is a traditional Japanese storytelling art form using illustrated cards shown in a miniature wooden stage called a butai.
I made this butai in A3 format entirely of laser-cut plywood, including wooden hinges and a compliant living hinge to push cards forward.
