Boar made to celebrate the 1995 year of Wood Pig (乙亥). Carved entirely with hand tools.

This carving started as a reproduction of the small boar at 2x scale ; the larger size allowed me to refine the general shape, details, and texture, still drawing inspiration from the studio Ghibli film Princess Mononoke (もののけ姫).
